Activity
During this session you will learn how to :
- Draw a simple cover plate shown in the illustration above using various Draw, Modify and Zoom tools.
- Dimensions will also be inserted onto the drawing.
Introducing

Information
- This Session contains all the instructions on each page to complete the drawing. Each Task of this Session contains a Movie.
- The instructions flow from one task to the next and the illustrations are contained in a storyboard manner
- It is recommended that you save your finished drawing to a secure location as it may be used again at a later stage in this Module.
- Menu options for the Default menu and workspace, the Ribbon and Palettes are provided directly under the Command Name heading.
- Instructions for all tasks are supplied using the Ribbon menu.
Sample Drawing
- A sample drawing for this task can be downloaded from the box above and saved to your hard drive. A copy of the finished drawing is found in the Blocks palette.
- The Blocks palette is displayed in the editor using Tools | Palettes | Blocks.
- The finished drawing can be dragged into the editor from the Blocks palette.
- All Blocks which are inserted from the Blocks palette into the editor must be Exploded. Make sure the inserted block is selected in the editor, then go to Format | Explode.
- To print the drawing, click onto A3 Landscape at the bottom left of the editor then go to File | Print.| To print the drawing, click onto A3 Landscape at the bottom left of the editor then go to File | Print.
